After losing the fight to partake as a governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party, Deputy governor of Ondo state Hon Agboola Ajayi, has accepted defeat saying that he contested many forces in the election.
In a previous post which we made, it was stated that the 2016 governorship candidate of the PDP, Eyitayo Jegede defeated Ajayi in a keenly contested election polling 888 votes against Ajayi’s 657 votes.
While reacting to the outcome of the poll in a statement with was made known via Allen Sowore, the Media Adviser to Ajayi, “the people have spoken, and we accept the outcome in good faith, knowing fully well that it was a race against different forces”.
