ONDO ELECTION: Alhaji Saliu emerges as Governorship Candidate for SDP
The Social Democratic Party, SDP, has identified Alhaji Adekunle Saliu as it’s governorship candidate for the October 10, Ondo election.
Mr Alfa Mohammed, the National Publicity Secretary of the SDP, who conducted the primary affirmed that, Alhaji Saliu was elected by 360 delegates of the party at Motel Place in Ondo town during a special affirmative indirect primary election of the party.
According to Vanguard, The electoral event began with the accreditation of all delegates after which two other aspirants, Otunba Olorunfemi Adeniyi and Barrister Abiola Olawole announced their withdrawal from the race claiming their decision was in the best interest of peace and unity of Ondo State chapter of SDP.
