CCTV footage revealed shows that the Nigerian army sent the military to Lekki Tollgate with 7 trucks. From the footage of the Lekki Tollgate shooting on October 20, 2020, it was confirmed that the Nigerian army arrived with 7 trucks and opened fire on #EndSARS protesters who had converged at the Tollgate.
The video was submitted by the Lekki Concession Company (LCC), which manages the tollgate to the Lagos State Judicial Panel.
This comes out few days few days after the Cable News Network (CNN) gave an investigative report, allegedly showing the Nigerian soldiers shooting at unarmed #EndSARS protesters at the Tollgate.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Laid Muhammad debunks the story and insisted that the military men did not shoot at #EndSARS protesters. He said the information was without verification and baseless.
