Umahi Declares Curfew In Effium Community

David Umahi, the Ebonyi State Governor  had on Wednesday ordered a dusk-to-dawn curfew in the Effium community which is located in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state in a bid to avert further killings and destruction of properties.
Umahi also approved that additional 600 soldiers be drafted to the community to restore peace.
Father Beats Son To Death In Kano
A father named, Awaisu Auwalu has been arrested following the death of his son after being hospitalized due to beating he got for alleged theft. 
According to police, Awaisu used a stick to beat up his 19-year-old son, who died days after being rushed to the hospital.
Anambra Police Confirm Charles Soludo Safety After Attack

The Anambra State police has confirmed the safety of Charles Soludo, former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, hours after attack by unknown gunmen during a rally he was holding in Isuofia community in the Aguata Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday.

Monday Kuryas, made this known in an interview session with Channels television also adding that the state Commissioner for Public Utilities, Emeka Ezenwanne, was abducted by the gunmen.
