Over the years, the country has had different political leader who have impacted greatly to the growth of the country and a number of these politicians are very influential female leaders whose efforts are still in effect till date.
We will be looking at the husbands of 4 of those female politicians.
1. Ngozi Okojo Iwela
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is one of the most powerful female politicians In the world. Iweala is regarded as the first woman and African to serve as the Director-General of the World Trade Organization.
In the past, Iweala had held other positions like serving two terms as Finance Minister of Nigeria, and also spending 25-year at the World Bank as a development economist.
She has been married to her husband, Ikemba Iweala who is a family medicine Physician and the couple are blessed with four children.
2. Oby Ezekwesili
Obiageli Ezekwesili is another powerful woman in politics who has formerly held the vice president position at the World Bank. She has also served as Federal Minister of Solid Minerals and Federal Minister of Education.
Ezekwesili is married to a Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God named, Chinedu Ezekwesili, and they are blessed with three children named Chinweuba, Chidera and Chinemelum.
3. Abike Dabiri-Erewa
Abike Dabiri-Erewa is a politician who has served a a member of the Nigeria Federal House of Representatives. Just like other female politicians on this list, Erewa has been married to her husband Segun Erewa since 2007.
4. Kema Chikwe
Kema Chikwe is a former Minister of Aviation who is currently still active in politics as the National Women Leader of the Nigerian political party PDP. She is married to Eze Herbert Chikwe, and the couple are parents of Nigerian musician named “Naeto C”.
