CONFIRMED: Court Sets Judgement Date for Atiku’s, Obi’s Presidential Election Petitions

The Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja has now officially scheduled Wednesday September 6, 2023 for date to deliver judgements on the long awaited three pending cases challenging the outcome of the 25 February presidential election.

The three petitions were filed by by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party, and the Allied Peoples Movement. The primary goal of this petition is to challenge the emergence of Bola Tinubu as the President of Nigeria.

According to the official press statement by the court of appeal, the judgment will be streamed live on television stations across the country in order to promote transparency.
